These Ellis Hollow duplexes are all new since 2005. All are just a short distance from Cornell University, banks and shopping. Each unit has two large bedrooms and a half bath upstairs. The downstairs living area has an efficient corner propane gas fireplace that does a nice job of heating the whole place. Both bedrooms and the office have backup electric baseboard heat, for those times when just a bit more warmth is desired. Both bedrooms, the office and the stairs are carpeted. The living room, kitchen, bath and dining area is ceramic tile flooring.
The kitchen is a cook’s dream, efficient layout of cabinets, plentiful counter space, gas stove and dishwasher. The full bath has a whirlpool tub. A bonus room is perfect for a home office. All rooms are equipped with high-speed internet connections A coin-op washer and dryer is available in a shared utility room located between apartments. There are no adjoining walls between the apartments so this is a very quiet place. All are in peaceful country settings with large yards.
1682, 1692, 1710 and 1718 Ellis Hollow back up to a nationally protected wetland. A few well-mannered neutered cats and dogs are welcome with an additional $250 non-refundable pet deposit. (However, we cannot accept any “bully breeds” or similar, nor any breed with a bite history, please. This is an insurance requirement) Ithaca City School District. Utilities are not included in rent, and have been running between $50 to $85/month for electric and averaging $116 of propane/month.
